Established in 2011, AUIA currently works with National Taiwan University of Science and Technology (NTUST) in Taipei, Beijing Foreign Studies University in Beijing, Hankuk University of Foreign Studies (HUFS) and Korea University (KU) in Seoul. AIUA is one of the most reputable summer school brands due to its strict academic standards, outstanding faculty members, and flawless credit transfer procedures. It also offers a wide range of extra-curricular activities. Its mission is to bring the most authentic American college atmosphere and high quality classes to Asia.
The AUIA International Summer School is jointly hosted by Taiwan Tech and AUIA International Summer School Platform. Hundreds of students from all over the world participated in AUIA International summer school on Taiwan Tech campus over the past years, including college students and high school seniors planning to go to the US for their college study. Students of the NTU Triangle Alliance (NTU, NTNU, NTUST) are encouraged to participate in the program. Credits earned through the program will be accepted by Taiwan Tech for the undergraduate students' degree requirements.
Due to the outbreak of COVID-19, Taiwan Tech has suspended its regular on-campus program and decided to develop accredited online courses for the 2020 AUIA Summer Program for all students who have registered for the regular on-campus Summer Program. All courses will be taught online by the same faculty members and under the same course syllabus and curriculum standards. The online courses will run from June 1, 2020 to July 3, 2020. The program will include 51 courses and 4 credits for each course. At the end of the program, all of the grade reports will be evaluated by the NTUST Admission Office and the official transcript will be mailed directly to students’ home universities.
